woke up for a 12 noon show protocol .. Got the drums all inline at the Gibson showcase center in Nashville , TN .. Had funny KISS interview with blake ,, the interviewer intern -I forget his name- challenged Blake to a game of Dance off Revolution in the Nashville mall .. Total wacky wacky but fun .. I guess haha . Eating at TGI Fridays .. everyone is trying to get a picture of Blake while he is eating .. They were denied .. haha .. A man needs his food .. YOu know .. ; ) .. Get to the gig .. Screaming girls everywhere . ! .. Have to go into the secret door to the backstage room .. I poked my head out and the girls go freakin' nuts !! .. they think I'm Blake !! .. hehe .. So we went for it .. Blake did a big pre show signing . Still people were like "Hey Blake," "you were great on American Idol Blake, " hehe . they think I'm him .. I love it .. Blake loves it .. We all love it .. hahahahahah .. !!! .. We are about to go on stage .. The crowd is going f**ing crazy !! . Screaming girls .. holly crap !! .. So the KISS djs introduce us .. Bam - I go out .. They all think I'm Blake ,, hehe .. Then he goes out with his hood over his face .. I get up on drums , Blake takes his hood off .. !! .. BAM !! .. The show begins .. We play Break Anotha and do some crazy battle improvisations .. It was fun as hell .. Took lots of picture of girls taking pictures of us .. haha .. wicked times !! ..

Finished up rehearsing for all the tv and radio apperances.. Ian (Blake's manager) and his assistant Lane came down here .. Roger (from 19 PR) came down too.. The band sounded better then ever.. We r ready to kill it !! Lane is super cool. Always kickin it with her ;) we ate and went back to the hotel and kicked down a crazy night of pullin back sparks and other esortments of beer.. Cops almost came .. It was great ..haha .

Back to Rehearsals

Back in LA for some more rehearsing . getting ready for Extra and other press to come today :) .. WE've been working hard here at SIR studios (sucky rehearsal space) .. Focusing on getting the band super tight without the laptop and working on vocals heavily .. !! .. Dave is with us .. good times ..
Getting ready for the big Tacoma Dome show .. and all the TV shows and radio .. Blake and I will take off to Nashville for the NQ radio show this Thursday .. Should be good .. Just him and I .. Drumset up front with him .. killin' it together like old style !! .. But new style . Well rehearsed unlike before .. haha .. We never had hardly anything rehearsed before .. You know, there really IS a huge difference in the impact of well-rehearsed music .. haha .. funny .. Fine tooth comb man !! .. And it's working .. Maybe not on the first few shows .. But it will happen .. It all takes time ..

The video shoot for Break Anotha was today!! . Very very cool .. massive production , we were jumping in the air for about 4 hours .. We are all very sore !! .. Mega fun . .. Really good tiger prawns and home made tamales for lunch .. ; ) ..

First gig EVER with the band!!

Got to the Dallas Arena early to set up the backline stage for the show. First Arena show ADD has ever played .. First show Blake Lewis and ADD has ever played !! .. We popped the cherry !! . It was frickin rockin !! . We killed .. of course .. We've been rehearsing quite a bit so it was pretty cake .. Lots of inline skating , skateboarding , bmx , motor-cross and Ludicris .. .. Funny and fun .. Stayed in a monstrous hotel and partied our fucking brains out !!! . good times .. Our tour manager 'Karen', was pretty damn hot too !! . ; 0

Rehearsed the band , got our ears molded for in-ear monitors .. that wasn't the most pleasant experience , but had to do it . Tuesday night we finished mixing Blake interludes at "The Jam" production team's studio in Burbank ,, super sick producers outta LA ..

Recording for the album

The band recorded interludes for Blake Lewis's album at Henson recording studios in LA . The studio was amazing. Best drum room in the country !!! .. "The Jam" producers produced the session. We killed it .. Got some glitch-hop , dnb , and a sick intro and outro on the album ..

First day on the job

I flew to Hollywood, CA today to start the process of getting the band ready for droppin' bombs for any and all Blake Lewis fans around the world .. I've been Musical Director for many bands of my own , but this is a whole new level. Kj Sawka and homies enter major label land .. crazy !!! I met up with Dave Kochanski (Kokoki) , who is the Music Director from American Idol for the last 3 years .. Wow !!! ... To start off this whole thing, this was a real treat to work with this guy. . .
